1880-1990 RIP. The hall’s distant location, on the far side of Saint Mary’s lake, originally had a purpose. It was built to lodge young men studying for the priesthood; and would continue to house aspiring priests and Holy Cross leaders including the young Theodore Hesburgh for another 60-plus years. I fondly remember attending Hog-wild parties in ‘83, ‘84, ‘85 in a building that was clearly falling apart…the staircase groaned and moved a bit while ascending…and I’m not a big person😉🐷 Thanks for the memories Holy Cross!
